KlipJar

Android App Privacy Policy

KlipJar for Android (com.beyonditl.klipjar) · Applies to version 1.0.0 and later · Last updated 5 October 2026

The short version

The KlipJar app has no account and no sign-in, and it contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting libraries. It never asks for your social-media password. When you share or paste a link, the app sends only that public post’s link to klipjar.com so our server can find the video file — the same thing that happens when you use the KlipJar website.

What stays on your phone

If you use Android’s own device backup, the app’s settings may be included in that backup; temporary download files are excluded. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored, except the media files you chose to save.

What is sent to klipjar.com, and why

Like any website, klipjar.com and our network provider Cloudflare process your IP address to deliver responses and block abuse. Our server logs record the time, IP address, path (never the query string or the post link) and status, are size-capped and overwritten automatically, and are never sold or used for profiling. Full details are in the website privacy policy.

Permissions, and why

The app does not request your location, contacts, camera, microphone or any account access.

What we do not do

Children

KlipJar is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights and contact

Because there is no account, we hold nothing that identifies you beyond short-lived server log lines. You can still ask about, or ask us to delete, any data relating to you. KlipJar is operated by BeyondITL Inc. Contact: [email protected]. Terms of use: klipjar.com/terms.

Changes

If the app’s data handling changes, this page is updated before the new version is released, and the date above changes.
