KlipJar for iPhone & iPad
There is no App Store download. KlipJar installs from Safari as a Home Screen web app: it gets its own icon, opens full screen like an app, and saves videos straight to Photos. It takes four taps.
Add KlipJar to your Home Screen
- Open klipjar.com in Safari. Use Safari for the smoothest install. Chrome and Edge on iPhone can also add to the Home Screen on iOS 16.4 or newer.
- Open the Share menu. On iOS 26, tap the ⋯ button next to the address bar, then Share. On iOS 18 and earlier, tap the Share button (the square with an arrow) in the toolbar.
- Tap Add to Home Screen. Scroll down the menu if you don’t see it. On iOS 26, leave “Open as Web App” switched on.
- Tap Add. The KlipJar icon appears on your Home Screen. Open it from there; it runs full screen without the Safari address bar.
Save a video to Photos
- Copy a post link in TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, Pinterest or Reddit (Share → Copy link).
- Open KlipJar, paste the link and tap Get media, then pick a quality.
- When the file is ready, tap Save video. In the menu that opens, tap Save Video to put it in Photos, or Save to Files to keep it in the Files app.
Most files come straight from the platform; TikTok and Pinterest files stream through our server, and no copy is kept. Only save content you own or have the right to save.
Questions
Is KlipJar in the App Store?
No. Apple’s App Store rules don’t allow apps that download media from other platforms without their permission, so KlipJar on iPhone is a web app you add from Safari. It is the same KlipJar as the website, with its own icon and a full-screen window.
Where do saved videos go?
If you tap Save Video, into the Photos app (Recents). If you tap Save to Files, into the Files app, usually under Downloads. Audio files always go to Files, because Photos only holds pictures and video.
Can I share a link straight to KlipJar from TikTok or Instagram?
Not on iPhone. iOS does not let web apps appear in the share menu, so copy the link and paste it into KlipJar. On Android, the KlipJar app does appear in the share menu.
Does it work offline?
The app opens without a connection, but saving a video needs the internet, because the file comes from the platform.
Does it take up space or track me?
It stores almost nothing: a small copy of the page so it opens quickly. There is no account. KlipJar shows one labelled ad and has no pop-ups.
How do I remove it?
Touch and hold the KlipJar icon, tap Remove App, then Delete from Home Screen.
