Free video downloader

TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, Pinterest and Reddit. Paste a link and save the file the platform publishes. No account, no upload, nothing stored about you.

Paste one or more links (separate several with commas). Only save content you own or have the right to save.

How it works

  1. 01

    Copy the link

Open the share menu on the post and copy its link. Every supported app has one, usually behind a share or ••• icon.

  2. 02

    Paste it here

Drop one link, or several separated by commas, into the field at the top. KlipJar reads each post and lists every file the platform publishes.

  3. 03

    Get the video

Tap Get media, pick a quality on each result card, and hit Download. The file lands in your downloads, and nothing is kept on our servers.

Why KlipJar

  • No copy kept

Most files go from the platform straight to your device. TikTok and Pinterest files, and Facebook or Reddit files your browser can’t read directly, stream through our server on the way, and no copy is kept. Nothing is uploaded to us.

  • No signup

No account to create, no email to hand over. Open the page, paste a link, download the file.

  • Works on any device

One page that behaves the same in a phone browser and on a desktop. Nothing to install to use the site.

  • Android app

Share a link from TikTok, Instagram or any supported app straight to KlipJar. Saves to your gallery, with sound, no account.

Common questions

Which platforms are supported?

TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, Pinterest and Reddit. Each has its own page covering the parts that differ, such as the merged audio on Reddit or the login wall on Instagram.

Is KlipJar free?

Yes, completely. There is no account, no subscription, no trial and no daily cap. Nothing about the site is gated behind a plan, and we will never charge you to download a file.

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign up for and no email to hand over. Open the page, paste a link, download the file. No accounts, no tracking, nothing stored about you.

Do I need to install an app or extension?

No. The site runs entirely in your browser on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install. There is one optional extra: a free KlipJar browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox that lets you save your own Instagram and Facebook posts from your signed-in session. You only need it for login-only IG/FB content; everything public works on the site with no extension at all.

Can I download on my iPhone or Android?

Yes. Copy the link in the app, switch to Safari or Chrome, and paste it. Saving works on both, though on iPhone the exact experience varies by iOS version and file type; most videos land in the Files app.

Can I save just the audio as an MP3?

On platforms that allow it, yes. Choose the MP3 option and the sound is pulled out of the video on your own device after it downloads. Nothing is uploaded for that conversion. A few platforms (Facebook among them) do not let a browser read their files, so the MP3 option is not shown there.

Where do my downloads go?

To your browser's normal download location: the Files app on iPhone, the Downloads folder on Android and desktop. KlipJar uses the ordinary browser download, so you can change where files land in your browser settings.

Why do some files pass through KlipJar’s server?

Some platforms do not let a web page read their files directly: TikTok and Pinterest never do, Facebook often does not (on iPhone above all), and neither do Reddit images and GIFs. For those, our server fetches the file when you tap Download and streams it straight to you as it arrives, so it saves like any other download. Nothing is stored and no copy is kept.

Can I download private or login-walled posts?

The KlipJar website only reads what a logged-out visitor can already see, so on the site itself, private accounts, direct messages, Stories and anything behind a login cannot be fetched. The one exception is the optional KlipJar browser extension for Instagram and Facebook: because it runs inside your own signed-in browser, it can save login-only IG/FB content your own account already has access to, such as your own posts. It only lets your logged-in session do what it can already do, and you are responsible for saving only what you are entitled to.

Why isn't YouTube supported?

YouTube isn't supported on KlipJar and won't be added. Paste a YouTube link and KlipJar says so right away rather than failing halfway through.
