Facebook Video Downloader
Public videos, Reels and fb.watch links, saved in the size you pick.
How to download from Facebook
- 01
Copy the video link
On a post, open the ••• menu and choose Copy link. In the Watch player, the Share button offers the same thing.
- 02
Paste it here
Short fb.watch links are fine, and so are the long m.facebook.com and web.facebook.com addresses phones tend to produce.
- 03
Get the video
Pick a size on the result card. The video saves to your downloads folder; on iPhone, tap Save Video in the share menu and it goes straight to Photos.

Facebook questions
Can I get the HD version?
Usually, with one catch: Facebook stores its HD renditions as separate video and audio streams and blocks browsers from reading them, so a web page cannot join them. On the website, Standard is the one-click pick with sound, and each HD size is offered under "Video only (no sound)" as the bare picture. To get HD with sound in one tap, use the free KlipJar browser extension or the Android app — they run outside the page limits and save a single HD file with sound directly.
Does KlipJar keep a copy of Facebook videos?
No. When your browser can read the file from Facebook, it downloads straight from there. When it can’t — Facebook often blocks this, on iPhone above all — our server fetches the file at the moment you tap Download and streams it through to you as it arrives. It is not saved, not kept and not looked at.
Do fb.watch links work?
Yes, paste them exactly as copied. They are short forms of a regular video address and resolve to the same public post.
Can I download a Facebook Reel?
Yes, as long as it is on a public Page or profile. Open the Reel, copy its link, and paste it here like any other video. Reels on private or friends-only accounts stay out of reach.
The link says a login is required. What now?
Facebook returns that when a post is friends-only, sits in a closed group, or is behind an age or region check. KlipJar sends a plain, logged-out request and does not work around those checks, so the honest answer is that this one cannot be fetched.
I am a member of the group. Can I download from it?
Not through here. Your membership authorizes your own session, not ours; to an anonymous request that video does not exist.
Does it cost anything?
No. There is no account, no upsell, and no extra watermark added to your file.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Copy the link in the Facebook app, open Safari or Chrome, and paste — the download runs through the browser you already use.
Where do saved videos go?
Into your browser's normal download location: the Downloads folder on Android and desktop. On iPhone, tap Save Video in the share menu and it goes straight to Photos (or pick Save to Files). The file comes from Facebook, either straight to your browser or streamed through our server when your browser can't read it directly; no copy is kept.
