Should I paste an x.com or a twitter.com link?
Either one. Both hostnames are recognized, including links you copied years before the rename.
The post shows a GIF. Can I save it?
Yes, and it arrives as an MP4 — that is how X stores those clips internally. If you specifically need a .gif file, convert it after downloading.
Which resolution do I get?
Most videos on X exist at several sizes. The dropdown lists them from largest to smallest, so you can trade resolution for a smaller file when you are on mobile data.
Can I save only the audio?
Yes. Choose the MP3 option and the sound is pulled out of the video on your own device after it downloads. Nothing is sent anywhere for that conversion.
Does it work on my phone without an app?
Yes. Copy the post link in the X app, open Safari or Chrome, and paste it. Everything runs in the browser you already have, on iPhone and Android alike — nothing to install.
Why can I not download from a protected account?
Those posts are visible only to approved followers. KlipJar makes plain, logged-out requests, so a protected post is simply a closed door — and it stays closed.
Does the author find out?
We do not post, like, follow, or notify anyone on your behalf, and nothing we send tells X who you are. There are no accounts here and no tracking of visitors.
